Dedication to writing and dogs is J*B*’s world. She has written for the book City Dog, a city-specific dog resource guide. She has written many brochures and newsletters for dog-based businesses. Didn’t know that owning a dog is beneficial to a man’s health? You will after J*B*’s done with the project! On the field, J*B* does work, too, she spends time directly with the pets at a dog daycare.

DarlaKitt
As a teenager in the late 80‘s, Darla started out writing rants for photocopied punk ‘zines, but ended up in college for something else entirely, as is often the case with aspiring writers. After coming to the conclusion that a 8-5 day job really does suck, she began pursuing a freelance writing career more seriously, having essays and articles published in a variety of online and print magazines, journals, and anthologies. Although many years have passed since Darla’s hair was dyed pink, her style will be edgy, and she will constantly try to shatter the boundaries of what is considered “fashionable.” What they say is true, you can take the girl out of the punk rock scene, but you can’t take the punk rock out of the girl … or her ugly dog. (The Murphy Dog is a cute/ugly, rough-around-the-edges punk puppy.)
