Ella is on a trip to Florida for New Years. But she’ll be getting some computer time, and we’ve discovered Word Press’s technology of setting posts to publish in the future! Other bloggers are taking some relaxation time, as well, but there will be plenty of posts around the network.

I postponed this “Happenings” post a few days in order to keep the news of the new domains on top.
This “Around the Network” is for last week, with a little bit of this weekend, included.
- On Pursed Lips, Ella looked deeper into those little clutches, in Clutch to Your Heart, and Mallory presented as a finale to her 12 Handbags of Christmas series, the Lisa Barrera Crystal Clutch.
- On Pet-Pet, J*B* informed us of the so-important fact that winter salty streets can give doggie paws infections! So wear Lillyboots!
- From Style Spotlight, bloggers SJ Snarker and Sinister Sister poked fun at Ashlee’s Simpson’s beloved chest.
- And finally, Ella retold her Fashion Rules; revamped & improved, as a celebration of Kiss Me, Stace’s birthday.
She also wrapped up the Carols of the Blog, with Ice Christmas, Santa Baby, and The 12 Gifts of Christmas.

- Kiss Me, Stace has a growth of heart, quotes Dr. Seuss’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and gives a message on the holiday spirit—in “Without Packages Boxes or Bags“.
- Mallory Road, of Pursed Lips, discovers Liz Mole’s Detachables; ingeniously designed double-duty handbags!
- Sarah Joelle Snarker, of The Spotlight fusses over society’s obsession with celebrity break-ups. It’s also a good message.
- J*B*, of Pet-Pet, schools us, in “Driver’s D.O.G,” on why it’s helpful to get your pet an I.D., as well as really fun!

We are doing a lot of research and Lipped Media is undergoing SEO improvements. Everything starts with Kiss Me, Stace, and then moves on to other blogs, where needed, especially if things work out well.
One thing to go is the long blogrolls and category lists, but they can be found in length on sub-pages. This is according to Google’s guidelines, although, hello, they need to make a separate guideline page for blogs. Blogs having fewer than 100 links per page? it’s not possible. The saddest thing to go is the calendar(s). I love those little stamps of achievement! but there are, on average, 20 links right there! I did read that they don’t do sites any good, although I can’t recollect if I read why. I’ll need to search for that.
What I really need to work on is making new changes to the test site first, but oh my, I’m lazy! Word Press is a picky sucker with its code.
The good news is that now, Kiss Me, Stace does look a lot more streamlined. Check for us to rise on the search engines! (Knock on plastic.)
*UPDATE* Another source seems to read that the limit is on outgoing links, so I added the calendar back, and I am quite happy about it!
